Creative brief and references → CAD/WYSIWYG preview with stakeholders → offline programming on your console stack → focus and tech → on-site operation. The same file that was approved in the studio is the file that opens the house.
Touring vs one-nighters
Both get offline prep. Tours need consistency night to night; one-nighters need speed without inventing the show at doors.
